Raised in Nixa, Missouri.

Graduated from Los Angeles Recording School in 2009.
In 2009, I started my career in audio post production
at Media City Sound in Studio City, CA.
I worked my way up from intern to assistant to machine room operator. During that time I also mixed, edited and sound designed 3 feature films and various short films,
as well as recorded and edited foley for over 20 episodes of Minute To Win It on NBC. When I was finally promoted to sound editor I was editing and mixing such television shows as The DUB Magazine Project (MTV) and
I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant (TLC).
Since 2011, I have ventured on, primarily working freelance,
focusing my efforts in mixing and sound designing for various projects with a wider scope of audio post houses in the Los Angeles area on projects Celebrity Motor Homes and Major Lazer, Axe Cop, Golan The Insatiable, Lucas Bros Moving Co, Stone Quackers and High School USA. Television spots for Nickelodeon, Bravo, FOX, Pepsi, Newcastle and Toshiba, feature films Spring, VHS 3 Viral, Contracted 2 and Resolution.
Also documentaries, theatricals trailers, behind the scenes content for Hollywood blockbuster films like Prometheus, The Hobbit and Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 and even a few video games.
Yahel is also a Co-owner of Life Form Media, Inc.
A production and post-production company.
I like challenges, building relationships and overcoming what many would consider complicated. Since the moment I entered this industry, I have hit the ground running to fulfill my passion to excel above and beyond in audio post production.
